Cons I would like to see more layout options when bringing in multiple feeds, and I'd like to have more control over picture-in-picture. Pros Riverside has truly elevated my production workflow. The standout feature is undoubtedly the local recording quality; getting uncompressed 48kHz WAV audio and 4K video regardless of internet stability is a game-changer. I no longer worry about guest Wi-Fi glitches ruining a take, as the platform captures everything directly on their device for a crystal-clear, professional finish.The AI toolset is equally impressive and saves me hours in post-production. Magic Clips has become essential for my social media strategy, instantly identifying and formatting highlights for TikTok and Reels. I also love the text-based editor, which lets me trim video just by editing the transcript. Cons Loading times after an episode is done (processing) can take a bit, but it's worth it. The time spent waiting for loading is time I can spend doing something else, so it's a small "inconvenience" to pay. Pros I like most everything but the removal of mundane editing and fast pass to a pro content with tools in one place that seem to work most all the time. The AI audio for leveling and eq are very solid, given that most of my work is interviewing non professional via computer..they may have a heil 40 pro and PL320 EV or they may have an amazon mike or nothing at all. The ai audio give me a level field of participants and the ability to export audio only for the audio platforms. Editing is a breeze. Cons I'm dependent on net traffic flow, ocassional crashes, remote user not have enough resources to run the software.....I'm not sure there is much you can do about that and folks like me just have to find work arounds. I've found advance planning with guests works well and I developed a youtube tutorial for guest on how to log on to Riverside into my studio.
