This is a very good, user-friendly and affordable product that has great value for the cost and good customer support. The software continues to improve and be updated per what we were promised. This is our 3rd. software in 3 years and is by far the best and a keeper.

Pros

\-Very user-friendly -Exceptionally customizeable -Good customer service -Levels for types of users helps to make it easier to train on (there is not a lot of extra stuff that makes it confusing) -Interfaces well with our pharmacy's software.

Cons

\-The customization process can feel daunting but is worth investing time into. -Would be nice to have some sort of apartment tracking module (future update I'm sure : ).

Overall, a great experience. We have been using for 10+ years and have been exceptionally satisfied with their software and customer service.

Pros

is very user friendly. My teams rarely have issues with the system and when an issue does occur, the ECP customer service people are there to help. We use all aspects of the system, from eMAR to incident reporting. We have our own assessment tool in the system, as well as our own supporting assessments and evaluations. Overall, a great product.

Cons

I’d like to see AI capability, i.e, predictive risk concerns with residents based on documentation and incident reporting.

What I like least about is sometimes information is not accessible in all areas. Like if I put a tb skin test in ECP and it was given I still have to go in immunizations to document it again.

Very positive experience from the beginning. Great support. Does interface with our pharmacy which is why we switched in the first place.

Pros

Overall a great EMR. Ease of uploading and the ability to keep everything in one place. The support is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend to any assisted living or SNF.

Cons

Setting alerts for staff notifications seems to be more difficult than it should be and there is no way to alert us if someone doesn't have a BM for 48 hrs.

Pros

Ease of use, great customer service, easy to train new employees on how to use the program. As the person who entered most of the residents into our system, that was also really an easy process as well.

Cons

The med passing system is a little bit more difficult to use than our previous program. The 2-steps for reordering meds, I wish there was way to turn that off, as well as the need to check in new meds/scripts into the system before they can be passed.

It has been a pleasant transition. I would have liked for all of the resident information to have transferred over instead of us having to manually input, especially the assessment.

Ease of use. Great support, always quick and friendly and always have an answer to my questions. The staff is extremely knowledgeable.

I would like to change the time out greater than two hours or not to have a time out at all unless I log out.

It’s been great! We couldn’t have chosen a better system for our needs. Our staff find it very easy to learn and use.

Pros

Ease of use for my staff! The support staff are also very responsive. We have never had to wait more than a day or two for an answer.

Cons

Our only involves not being able to save certain documents and go back to them later. We waste a lot of time reentering assessments.

Over all, it has been good. Customer support is always as helpful as they are able to be and is always willing to take suggestions to their team.

Pros

Ease of use with the MAR. I also like how easy it is to complete the care plan assessment to turn those into daily tasks for the residents.

Cons

Inability to customize for our population. I would also like to see as meds are completed for each med pass that the resident is greyed out showing that their meds are completed for that med pass time.

### "ECP is worth your buck"

I have worked with for many years and I love it. I would be lost without it. It has so many pro's and not alot of con's, that I have run into anyways. It saves alot of time when it comes to charting on residents.

Pros

Working with is great. It is easy to navigate through different areas on it. Very convenient when you need to find a document quickly. Customer service is great also. Very friendly and can help navigate any concerns. Resident management is quick and efficient. You can set up tasks per your facility. Medication management is easy to follow. Security is great so no one can get into files that are not authorized to do so. ECP overall is a great tool for value of your money.

Cons

I think it should have some type of backup when the internet connection is lost. Staff does get frustrated when and if we loose internet connection and they are not able to document.

Overall, it has been working well. Customer service has been very helpful every time I've needed them.

Pros

No more paper, it is mostly user friendly. Has definitely saved money with printing monthly MARS and TARS. I'm still figuring out the difference between task and treatment

Cons

I wish the medications would flag a different way when due. Not all pop up at once and color coded differently. It is not easy to edit an assessment; it creates a whole new one and I find it time consuming when I get pulled away and come back to it and can't just jump back in, I have to start a new one.

Very Good!

Pros

Very user friendly for staff to use and its used across the fox valley so many caregivers are familiar with the program. Also, the customer service staff are AMAZING, they are always kind, helpful, patient, and have excellent follow up.

Cons

For follow ups such as patches, Somehow make a follow up that can immediately ask them if they removed the previous patch. I am currently only able to do it 5 minutes later and we have to enter a separate patch removal as a treatment. Staff often forget to remove the old ones if we are not doing this. One other suggestion I'd like to put out there is I wish we could select certain parts of the ISP for the "active cares" that we want to for a quick reference for our staff. Even though it is a shortened version, it still is not efficient for us. Our hopes was the active cares would be similar to a form you'd see printed off in nursing homes on patients doors with instructions for CNA's. We have a few different forms we use like this internally but it would be amazing to have something be made from the ISP so your not re doing the work in two different area's. Currently we use a separate form which has the following areas listed on one page. These are the main topics with a few examples: Mental Status (example-alert/oriented) -Speech (example-difficult to understand)-Mobility Assistance(example-Wheelchair)- Transfer Assistance-Grooming Assistance-Special Equipment- Eyesight/Hearing- Medical Monitoring- Paralysis-Skin-Bathing Assistance-Oral Care-Dressing- Eating Assistance- Toileting Assistance-Night Services- Behaviors/Safety- Medications- Activities- Advanced Directives- Appointments- Housekeeping- Other Services - Evacuation Capability in Emergency.

Reason for choosing ECP

We tried other software systems but at that time was the most advanced and worked with our primary pharmacy (Mortons) which was an added bonus. Since we have made the change we are very happy with services and have not ever felt the need to explore any other options.

Very positive. Easy for med techs to learn. Easy to check for undocumented meds. This is one of the hardest things for me to control on a daily basis. The problem isn't the system, its the users.

Pros

Other than regular daily use, I had to email support for a password issue and the support person \[sensitive content hidden\], responded very promptly with easy to understand instructions. She also followed up with an email to be sure everything worked out for me.

Cons

I don't really have anything I don't like about it. The only thing that I didn't know that causes a minor issue is that the med list that prints with the face sheet does NOT include treatments.

It's been very positive. They took time to train me and other billers. They're always quick to answer my questions and tailer the software to our needs. When there is a bug, they fix it. When I need help, they're available.

Pros

Customer support - they always help me in a timely manner and tailer to my billing needs. Reporting - saves tons of time in booking revenue. Scheduling - I'm able to meet my deadlines for billing purposes.

Cons

I wish it was able to fill out billing forms like the CMS 1500. Similar products on the market do. Hoping this is an upgrade that will come soon!

CUstomizing options - I had difficulty locking in the company log-in. The response I got was timely and explained the steps to correct this. Very satisfied with the service.

When I was logged out and not knowing my company log-in was frustrating. I got the information was able to log-in and able to lock the log-in information.

Overall I am happy with I could confidently recommend as a 2nd after QuickMAR however you are gaining on them since they got bought out by PCC.

Pros

What I like most about is the Support staff and the software is easy to navigate

Cons

What I dislike the most is the way it automatically receives inventory. This creates frustrations for the facility and pharmacy because the facility is expecting things to automatically occur and they blame it on the pharmacy. For example the way it handle 2 part orders (scheduled and prn) and adding qty based on RF vs RE messages

I feel is missing a calendar tab. A Calendar tab where management could enter appointments and events that would prompt staff.

Overall I have had all good experiences with . It has made my world as Administrator much easier. The ECP team when you call the office are nothing but friendly and will work to help you solve your issues. I never feel rushed and to me that is important to learn things slowly

Pros

I come from old school where everything was hand written and kept in resident charts. This is so much easier and neater, easy to find history on anything I am looking for without having to dig through years of files. I am able to monitor how the residents are daily, I can monitor medication passes to make sure things are being done.

Cons

There is really nothing that I dont like, I just think there is so much I dont understand and could really use some training on things to better utilize all areas. One area I would really like to learn is using for ISP's. Right now i had write all of them

I started using when the idea came to fruition, our assisted living facility was the "guinea pig" for the launch so I have been able to see the ECP program grow and improve throughout the years.

Pros

Ease of use, easy to train new staff with this system.

Cons

The back up is nice when the system is out but, would be more convenient if we were able to break down what we need as opposed to printing everything as it can be over 200 sheets. Also, if power is out, there is not much use for back up, unless I am not using it correctly.

I previously worked for a company that switched from to ALIS and within 3 months, they switched back to ECP!

We use for our EHR, our EMAR and most of our clinical applications across our 11 large Assisted Living/Memory Care communities. They are so good to work with and their customer support is extraordinary. I email about once a month over something or other which is usually an upgrade in the software.

Pros

I like that I can customize assessments for the team. offers assessments for most states that are state required (like in Utah) for Assisted Living. Most of the team can teach themselves the software really easily. It is very user friendly.

Cons

Every software has it's limitations and there are a few things that are a little wonky with . I wish there was a way in the assessment that you could say if you select yes to an option, it opens up more of an assessment but if you say no it doesn't show up. Its a small thing. I anticipate this is an option ECP would develop someday. However, ECP is so good to work with that if this was something that was absolutely needed, they would make it happen.

I disliked that the system kept logging me out, but since I spoke to technical support they were quick to respond and solved the issue quickly.

is so great to use and it makes charting simple yet allows for much detail

Pros

I like how easy it is and how there is never any issues with the software. Makes charting such breeze

Cons

sometimes it saves the passwords of others and I have to delete and retype mine
