" April 20, 2026 4.0 I have had an excellent overall experience with Goldie. I have recommended it to a few other cosmetologist and barbers. One day a client wasn't able to book an appointment for some reason. The time slot was available but they weren't allowed to select it. The client reached out to me and I personally but it on my schedule. Pros I love how I can send out a link to clients so they can see when I'm available. No more back and forth. I really like the confirmation and reminders of appointments. It is nice that you can set it up to book appointments by other appointments. That way to don't have hours of down time when you first start out. Cons The only thing that I can say I dislike at this point is the price. Don't get me wrong it saves you time and everything is in one spot. Could there be an option like pro but for new business owners? For example, if you have under 50 clients pro is less expensive. I think I use most of the services available but I don't use it all that often since I don't have a huge clientele. The reminders keep me aware of whats coming up and makes my clients feel like they are getting personal treatment when they receive reminders from me. Pros I love this software because it keeps me on track. I am a 1 oerson operation, so I have to do it all. Having Goldie is like having an administrative assistant who never has to take a break, has personal issues that keeps them from being able to perform, but can be completely relied upon to maintain my schedule, client communications and reminders, marketing and payments. I can even use it to keep track of my personal schedule and put reminders in to pay bills, remember birthdays, etc. I have stopped using every other calendar and reminder app I have on my phone. All other booking sites just didn't seem to offer me what I wanted or that the value for their systems didn't seem feasible. I love that this system is so user-friendly and all in one. The site is easy to navigate and no extra fluff. I love that I'm able to troubleshoot in real time with someone and the team is very responsive. Pros It's user friendly and grows with me as I grow my business. I love that it has everything I need and then some to show me in what direction to go in. I do thing the investment into the PRO system will pay off in the long run. Appointment management is great and whenever I reach out for an issue, someone is always there to connect. Cons Seems like a new program, but that doesn't bother me at all. It's like we're learning issues along the way together. Pros Goldie is the first ever system I have used to run my business and it’s made my life so much easier. Clients can now book there own appointments so no back and forth messages. It helps me with marketing and reminder messages to which is important for me. The interface for both me and the client is so easy. The fact it allows me to use klarna is a big thumbs up for my clients as it spends the costs for the client but I receive all the money. Now they have added the new schedule next appointment button at the checkout that’s so much easier to. Cons I don’t like the amount of time it takes for pay outs at the start. However, I only lasted about eight months there before realizing how much I missed the simplicity and user-friendly design of HeyGoldi. In the end, I chose to return, mainly because of how effortless and intuitive the system is compared to others. Pros I’ve been using the HeyGoldi app and what I like most about it is its interface — it’s clean, intuitive, and very easy to use. Cons One great additional feature that I believe is currently missing would be the ability to share a calendar with another practitioner. This would allow another practitioner to carry out treatments during time slots when I don’t have any clients booked, making even better use of available time overall. Pros The built in card payments is fantastic! The switch over process was quick and easy too. The customer service is impressive, any email I’ve sent was replied too so quickly with all my questions answers and any issues fixed. Cons I would like to have an invoice available that consolidates the months payments received and card fees paid, this was available with my last booking system. I do think that finding and navigating certain things in settings can be difficult, such as changing certain work days to add holidays. Easy to set up, secure, updates on everything I need and easy payment processing. It's a great value Pros I love how easy it was to set up! I'm not a technical person so I really appreciated the emails I received step by step to set up my site, card reader and how to's every step of the way. Scheduling and management of appointments is very easy and secure. Great value for the money! I love getting updates from options I can still add and suggestions to make my site better.
