Of course, I'm writing along with Jasper (he can't do it all on his own), but it has made my process of blog writing much easier. I also love the command feature, I'm finally testing out all the recipes, and wow, they are insanely helpful. I think this software has a lot of incredible features, but it does take time to understand them all. Cons The price for boss mode is a bit of a gut punch for most beginning freelance writers. And the starter pricing level is just not useful, so you're stuck with boss mode. A day after purchasing Jasper, I was on a live webinar that covered the major tools and functions. I was writing content within a day, as the app is very easy to use. Pros One of the best features of Jasper is the templates, especially the "One-Shot Blog," which produces an excellent 500-word blog in less than a minute based on just a title. The long-form templates are equally as great, too. I produced three excellent 3,500- to 5,000-word ebooks in less than four hours using Jasper's long-form template. I simply started by asking Jasper to provide a list of questions for each topic, then I had Jasper write responses to the questions I kept in the ebooks. It was fast, productive, and the output was excellent. Cons There are no downsides to Jasper. The worst thing I can say about the app is that its add-on, Jasper Art, which sources artwork to accompany content, is mediocre at best. The inbuilt plagiarism checker and natural language processing is essential and so vital, as it saves 75% of production time and tedious work, in having to manually re-process the work, or ending up doing the work manually, anyhow. Cons It is a shame that Jasper.ai does not have a set up to top-up credits, as the jump (or upgrade) from Boss Mode to, ex., an Enterprise plan is quite large. Our workflow need varies a bit from month to month, as it depends on client inflow and bottle neck'ing, where we at some months will "run out" of credits per our current plan, and at other months "have spare".Jasper.ai does offer options to "earn credits", but these are all one-timers, and the fee and need for credits if you jump up a package may be be 500% more than what we actually need, and the fee 500% more expensive than what our production value would cover.So it would be very practical to have a %-based top up function, or credit-based top-up function, so we could better adjust credit-usage per month. Reason for choosing Jasper Because Jasper for now appears overall better developed, includes a good training package, has good support and appears to have good customer service and to technically be superior. However, the only reason why we did not go yearly is the lack of a more customer friendly adjudication with credits, or the lack of a top-up option with credits, which makes it impossible for us to fine-tune our needs and expense.
