### "Best CRM in the business"

March 3, 2026

5.0

Great CRM with lots of free training and useful certifications. It Just a great platform overall for managing company activities.

Pros

It is such a handy platform and has great features to manage sales activities as well as admin. Really reliable CRM.

Cons

The company duplicates etc. It just gets very messy sometimes and to be honest I wish it was a little easier to organise or at least there was a way to clean it up because otherwise the system itself is flawless.

Dynamics is not that great to be honest. The best thing was Hubspot also offered a massive discount for start-ups and we used it well.

### "Tried and true - fantastic CRM choice for all"

June 13, 2026

5.0

Fantastic. I have used Hubspot in most of the companies I have been with today from start up, to early stage, to larger as well. It has been a constant and has performed well throughout.

Pros

What can I say about Hubspot that hasn’t already been said… HS is truly a great platform, whether for leaner teams or larger teams, Hubspot is a great fit for a crm (with other optional pieces as well like the marketing hub). Hubspot is extremely intuitive with a laundry list of easy plug and play integrations and allows for ease of implementation, adoption, and on going use.

Cons

Really my only critique is the flexibility and power compared to its biggest competitor - Salesforce. Hubspot is fantastic for a certain runway - but doesn’t have quite all the power that some enterprise teams need at scale coming out of the box.

### "We can’t afford it anymore"

September 22, 2026

4.0

Use another platform with flexible pricing and a service that isn’t as shaky. There are plenty of good CRM options now.

Pros

We used to use this CRM and it was affordable and worked well at first. I like the flexibility and pricing you have with a marketing platform this is just the wrong one.

Cons

I found it very expensive to grow with, which is very bad. HubSpot seems built only for big companies, and small businesses can’t afford it, so we moved to the next tier.

### "Sales & Onboarding Experience Did Not Match What We Were Promised"

July 31, 2026

1.0

Our overall experience with HubSpot has been extremely disappointing, primarily because of the sales and onboarding process rather than the CRM itself. Before signing, I repeatedly explained that we needed help setting up our third-party vendors, systems, and integrations. We were reassured that HubSpot would help us through the process and that getting everything set up would not be a problem. We were also told the onboarding fee was being waived as an end-of-quarter concession. After signing, we discovered that implementation was far more complicated than we had been led to expect and that obtaining the level of assistance we understood would be available could require thousands of dollars in additional services. Had this been clearly explained upfront, we would never have signed the agreement. We raised our concerns shortly after purchasing, never meaningfully implemented or used the platform, and requested a full refund of the $1,262.40 paid. After weeks of being transferred between Sales, Support, Billing, and Contract Management, HubSpot ultimately denied our refund and declared the decision its "final position." We strongly dispute HubSpot's characterization of what was represented during the sales process and have formally requested the sales call recordings and transcripts. Our issue isn't that we tried HubSpot and simply didn't like it. Our issue is that the expectations established during the sales process materially differed from what we encountered after purchasing. We have now filed complaints with the Massachusetts Attorney General, Washington State Attorney General, and Better Business Bureau. We are still giving HubSpot the opportunity to resolve this matter with a full refund. If they do, I will gladly update this review to reflect that resolution.

Pros

The CRM itself appears to have a robust feature set and offers a wide range of tools and integrations in one platform.

Cons

Before signing on March 30, 2026, I repeatedly explained that one of my biggest concerns was getting our third-party vendors, systems, and integrations successfully set up. We were reassured during the sales process that HubSpot would help us through the process and that getting everything set up would not be a problem. We were also told the onboarding fee was being waived as an end-of-quarter concession. After signing, we discovered that implementation was considerably more complicated than we had been led to expect and that obtaining the level of assistance we understood would be available could require thousands of dollars in additional services. Had this been clearly explained before we signed, we would not have purchased the subscription. We raised the issue shortly after purchase, never meaningfully implemented or used the platform, and requested a refund of the $1,262.40 we paid. What followed was weeks of emails, transfers between Sales, Support, Billing, and Contract Management, repeated internal reviews, and ultimately a denial of our refund request. HubSpot acknowledges that onboarding was discussed and that the onboarding fee was waived, but disputes our understanding of what implementation assistance was represented during the sales process. Because of that disagreement, we have formally requested access to the recorded sales calls and transcripts. We have now filed complaints with the Massachusetts Attorney General, Washington State Attorney General, and Better Business Bureau after exhausting our attempts to resolve this directly. Our issue isn't that we tried HubSpot and simply didn't like it. Our issue is that we believe the expectations established during the sales process materially differed from what we encountered immediately after purchasing. We are still giving HubSpot the opportunity to make this right by refunding the $1,262.40 paid and confirming that there are no additional payment obligations associated with the disputed subscription. If HubSpot resolves the matter fairly, I will gladly update this review to reflect that resolution.

### "Essential tool for growth"

July 8, 2026

5.0

Great. It has become an essential tool for Marketing and Sales. It has this unique combination of easy to setup/customize with powerful capabilities. For those who are not developers per se, this is a must.

Pros

The automations and workflows capabilities are powerful. Without being a technical developer I can support our RevOps and teams.

Cons

Sometimes they release multiple features and fixes at the same time. It is difficult to keep track of product updates.

Alternatives considered

[Salesforce Sales Cloud](https://www.capterra.com/p/61368/Salesforce/)

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

Because pricing was more accesible and it was more "hands on". You don't need a consultant to make fixes or automations.

### "Not for a small team that wants to run tech-lean. "

February 25, 2026

4.0

There was definitely a learning curve to Hubspot, even for someone coming from other robust CRM systems. I've used many, and the great thing about Hubspot CRM is that it really can do a lot. But if you're thinking you can just bring other CRM experience and find your way around with ease, you'll probably find yourself a bit frustrated. Even though it's all within one ecosystem, it wasn't nearly as intuitive as I would've liked. Ultimately, the company I used Hubspot CRM with moved to a more simplified system. It was just too powerful and complex for what we really needed, even at scale.

Pros

With Hubspot CRM, I liked that I could create custom properties and have them displayed within the contact records. While the contact records aren't 100% customizable, having features like this where we could display custom properties was very helpful. I appreciate a CRM system that allows for flexibility and customization.

Cons

If you don't have a large team with different departments and multiple pipelines in play, this system is simply overpowered for what you'd need. For our use case, I found myself trying to use features that we truly didn't need in order to get the value out of the system. Hubspot is a costly system built in a modular format, so if you want to do X within the CRM, you need to buy Y access. If you're wanting to run your business "tech-lean," Hubspot CRM is NOT the system for you.

Alternatives considered

[Zoho CRM](https://www.capterra.com/p/155928/Zoho-CRM/)

Reason for choosing HubSpot CRM

Ultimately, Hubspot was used by more teams in our industry, so we figured it would be a good fit for what we needed.

Switched from

[Kit](https://www.capterra.com/p/175000/ConvertKit/)

We wanted an all-in-one system to consolidate our tech stack, and Hubspot was the one that caught our eye because of all of the adjacent systems you can add on to create one cohesive ecosystem.

### "Easy to Stand Up and Get to Work"

January 21, 2026

5.0

I've used HubSpot CRM in a couple of different organizations, from large-scale enterprise wide deployments, to small-scale small businesses. In both cases, working with the HubSpot team is a great experience

Pros

HubSpot CRM is incredibly easy to spin up and begin using. It is one of the fastest CRM tools to stand up and use from the get go. Its especially nice that there is a free tier to get you started.

Cons

Everything costs money, which you should expect. However, with HubSpot CRM, there are tiers that unfold functionality. Rather than getting exactly what you need, you will find that you are likely to pay extra for the things you don't need as well.

Based on the features and functionality, along with the ability to self-configure, the cost of HubSpot was significantly lower than other options.

### "Modular Approach to CRM"

August 20, 2026

5.0

Easy set up and friendly user interface though it sometimes looks outdated compared to other CRMs but it is a great value for the money

Pros

The modular approach let's you set up different parts of the CRM according to the company's needs and customize them along the way allowing all the team to work together and follow up the requests.

Cons

Sometimes, the modules come with certain fields pre assigned and they are limited to a certain number of modifications.

### "Powerful CRM for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Relationship Management"

September 27, 2026

5.0

We chose HubSpot CRM because of its ease of use, comprehensive feature set, scalability, and strong integration ecosystem. Compared to other CRM solutions, HubSpot provided a better balance between functionality, user experience, and implementation speed, making it suitable for businesses of all sizes.

Pros

HubSpot CRM offers an intuitive and user-friendly platform that helps manage customer relationships, sales pipelines, marketing campaigns, and customer service activities in one place. The automation tools, contact management features, and reporting dashboards make it easy to track interactions and improve team productivity. Its integration capabilities with a wide range of business applications are also a major advantage.

Cons

While the platform is easy to use, some advanced features and automation capabilities are only available in higher-tier plans, which can become costly for growing businesses. The reporting functionality is powerful, but certain custom reports require additional setup and expertise to maximize their value.

### "Hubspot CRM is the way to go."

July 28, 2025

5.0

Hubspot has a software that really helped me manage my selling and marketing activities. In truth, this CRM is only limited by the user's own creativity and abilities.

Pros

There honestly a lot to love here and the seriously compound each other. To start with being able to customize your data view helps prioritize what you need most for your business and is very easy to use. This ultimately allowed me to work faster with lead management and task completion. Ultimately, this app can deliver a lot of value by allowing you to understand your email performance and the success rates of your activities.

Cons

I wasn't able to bulk edit like I would've wanted to like a spreadsheet, but with the rate Hubspot innovates this may already be an option!

### "Powerful all-rounder CRM that has helped us to grow"

May 27, 2025

5.0

Very good all-rounder, enabling us to operate efficiently across all areas of our GTM function (marketing, sales, customer success). The product feels like it is constantly being updated and improved, and is a very powerful CRM.

Pros

Workflows and automations are very powerful and enabled us to scale our marketing, sales and customer success processes. Hubspot can also integrate with pretty much any other tool out there as well which makes things a lot easier. Managing inbound leads and enquiries through forms and workflows is very helpful, and all of the elements within the marketing hub (e.g. email) have recently been updated and are a massive improvement from when i first started using Hubspot 4 years ago.

Cons

Lead scoring can be a bit complex and clunky and is one thing that has frustrated me in the past, although there have been some recent updates/releases to this. The sales forecasting tool could also be improved by being made more customisable.

### "Excellent Experience with HubSpot CRM"

April 21, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with HubSpot CRM has been positive. It is a user-friendly and effective platform for managing leads, tracking sales, and organizing customer information in one place. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. Team collaboration works well since all data is shared and accessible, and automation features help save time on repetitive tasks.

Pros

What I liked most about HubSpot CRM is how easy it is to manage leads and organize customer information in one place. It offers great value for money, especially with its free plan that includes many useful features. The platform is very easy to use, with a clean and intuitive user interface that makes navigation simple even for beginners. Lead management is efficient, allowing you to track deals and sales progress clearly. It also supports good team collaboration by keeping all communication and customer data shared across users. In addition, its process automation tools help save time by handling repetitive tasks like follow-ups and email tracking automatically. Customer support is generally helpful, especially for paid plans, making it a well-rounded CRM solution.

Cons

Finding specific information or switching between tools may take more time, especially when managing large amounts of data. Despite this, the platform remains powerful and functional for growing businesses.

### "Easy to Buy, Impossible to Downsize"

February 3, 2026

2.0

Pros

Easy to adjust CRM with comprehensive features - powerful on the pipeline management of deals. Collaborative approach and adapatable Dashboards

Cons

HubSpot started with a solid value proposition, but over time it has become a masterclass in aggressive upselling and toxic pricing practices. We invested a lot of time implementing the product, only to be constantly pushed to upgrade features we don’t need and don’t use. The final straw was a seat management issue that feels completely unacceptable for a modern SaaS in 2026. After changing some users on our plan, we were automatically pushed to a higher seat tier. When we tried to return to 6 seats: which is exactly what we need for our 6 sales reps. we were told in writing by our CSM that it was impossible. Why? Because our contract allows us to add seats, but not remove them until contract expiration… in late 2027. Locking customers into unused seats for years is not “customer success,” it’s customer captivity. This kind of rigid, one-way pricing model belongs to another era. We recently tested Attio and realized something important: we don’t need half of HubSpot’s bloated feature set that we’re paying for anyway. Simpler tools with transparent pricing are catching up fast. In short: HubSpot starts as a good value proposition, then monetizes by pushing relentless upsells and trapping customers in inflexible contracts. After this experience, I even sold my HubSpot shares. I don’t believe this sales culture is ROI-positive in the long run. Disappointing evolution for what used to be a promising product.

### "A Simple CRM That Makes Customer Tracking Easy"

July 19, 2026

4.0

Overall, I've had a good experience using HubSpot CRM. Before using it, customer information was spread across emails and spreadsheets, making it easy to miss follow-ups. Now everything is stored in one place, so it's much easier to manage contacts, track sales, and stay organized. It has helped me save time and keep better records of customer interactions.

Pros

What I like most about HubSpot CRM is how easy it is to keep track of customers and sales in one place. I can see conversations, update contact details, manage deals, and set follow-up reminders without switching between different tools. The layout is clean, and it's simple to find what I need, which saves time during the day.

Cons

The free version is useful, but some of the more advanced reporting and automation features require a paid plan. It also takes a little time to understand all the available tools, and I wish some settings were easier to find.

### "HubSpot Hits The Mark for Marketing!"

March 4, 2026

5.0

Overall HubSpot CRM is great for managing all of your sales, marketing and customer relationship data in one centralized place. It is fairly easy to learn how to use and can simplify a lot of the standard processes that organizations go through during the sales cycle.

Pros

HubSpot integrates all of our sales, marketing and customer service into one visually appealing interface that is easy to navigate and work inside. It is incredibly efficient at managing contacts and works very well for managing leads throughout the sales lifecycle. The HubSpot team also provides great resources and customer support if you are part of their paid service.

Cons

One of the caveats of Hubspot CRM is it can get quite expensive if you are part of a larger organization that has a significant contact list or if you require any customized automation. For smaller and mid-size businesses HubSpot works great, but if you are an enterprise level organization with thousands of contacts/clients it can get rather pricey.

### "Grades tool for SMBs and scale-ups to get sales and marketing in one place"

July 14, 2025

4.0

Good tool to get marketing and sales teams on the same page. HubSpot needs to work on its pricing to make it easier to understand.

Pros

HubSpot is a great tool for SMBs looking to scale up to serving an enterprise segment. The integration of marketing, sales and customer success in one place is very useful. Everyone knows about HubSpot from their inbound marketing, and I feel they provide great value even to those who have not purchased their products.

Cons

CRM is a bit clunky, and there is a learning curve, even for some basic features. You need to upgrade to a higher plan to really use it well, and the pricing structure is quite complicated.

Pros

I love HubSpot CRM for two main reasons: first, it’s free and allows infinity contact list for a small business and secondly, it can be integrated with almost any third-party platform. Each time we use a new tool, this allows us to import our contact list from HubSpot.

Cons

It’s complicated or I don’t know how to do it properly. This hasn't happened to me just a few times, but every time I export a contact from Excel, HubSpot creates new properties if I don’t set everything correctly.
