Disgusting, degrading, inhuman, systematic propaganda, robotic manipulation, inherently unimaginable, narcissistic manipulation.

Pros

I did not like this as it is inhuman, allowing people to watch you behind a screen is narcissistic programming. No different than that of serial killer watching someone, trapped in room. Picking up on red flags…is there statement behind one-way interviews… Human interaction is not a red flag. It’s how we were created, we were created to socialize face to face. This Program is a “Red Flag”. Not everyone on the planet wants to video themselves. This is programming, using robotics and AI processes to learn human interaction…. Rating 0. This is disgusting.

Cons

The whole process, integrating people, through segregation is a narcissistic thought process. Robotic processing has no place in humanity , you will never out think the human brain, this is why genetics will out grow computers.

Spark Hire truly makes us feel like part of a family. It's incredible to see how much they value their customers, constantly investing in platform improvements and finding ways to help each one truly succeed. You can tell it's not just business, it's a relationship. It's great to know I'm part of this community that grows together and is heard. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

Pros

What I liked most: I really liked how easy the platform was to use, how fast the selection process was, and how attentive the support was. You can tell they're always committed to improving

Cons

What I liked least: Sometimes I miss some extra features that could make it even more comprehensive, but I can see they're always improving, so I believe this will be resolved soon.

Pros

I like Spark Hire as a screening tool for first-round interviews. You can quickly find out if people are computer-literate, well-spoken, respond to deadlines, and get a quick gauge of their skills and background before going to the trouble to set up an interview that could be a waste of time for both parties. You get "live" audio/visual interaction with a candidate in seconds rather than spending many minutes or hours. You can then hit the ground running faster in your in-person interview with candidates that move to that step, because you've already gotten some of the basics out of the way in the Spark Hire interview.

Cons

I don't have any major drawbacks with this software. It's quite easy to use and sort through candidates quickly.

We reached out to SparkHire when we were researching a product that would allow us to deploy a specific, custom assessment to our candidates. We communicated that the assessment would need to allow for both text and video modules, where applicants could respond both by typing text and recording a video. This was not possible and the sales people knew this. We have a long list of other items that were promised but were not actually possible. We are now stuck in a contract and they are charging our credit card quarterly even though we had notified them promptly that the tool was useless to us. A classic example of overpromising and underdelivering, or rather not delivering at all. All we asked was to be let out of the contract. Didn’t even request a refund. Last communication from the customer service team was on \[sensitive content hidden\], “still waiting for response of our management team”. In my business, we would not let a customer leave unhappy, but SparkHire apparently does not care.

Pros

None, because the product was sold to us despite the fact that Spark Hire knew it would not fit our desired solution/use.

Cons

Very inflexible product. Customer service that is not empowered to help.

Overall spark hire is great. We use it to initially identify how serious candidates are to the position. We determine this by if they do the interview in time, also the setting. Is the background messy or neat. And of course with the answers provided we can initially see if the candidate would be a good match

We are able to input questions that the candidates answer on video

It’s hard to dislike anything as it fits and meets all of our needs

I love Spark Hire and would recommend it to anyone. Their tech teams are spot-on in responding to issues with candidates, alleviating the pressure for our team to have to respond and know all the answers to the items that may come up from a candidate side.

Pros

I love that Spark Hire puts all candidates on the same playing field for an initial interview. The candidates don't have the verbal/non-verbal feedback of Zoom/phone/in-person, so the interview is much more structured than our other options later in the process.

Cons

As stated previously, some of the searching for previous candidates/interviews has become more cumbersome.

Pros

The is an excellent and user-friendly software allowing us to schedule and manage our video interviews. The scoring system is great and helps us get the true thoughts of the whole interview team.

Cons

Technical difficulties don't come up that often, but when they do, they can be pretty impactful. We occasionally have applicants who aren't able to sign in without any obvious signs of user-error.
